The time Jon turned down a job, went crazy, and called them back and said he made a mistake.

If there is one trait that I hope Lovie does not inherit from her dear Dada, it's his inability to make a decision. Bless him. Jon has been through A LOT lately, so really it's not his fault. He's good a lot of things, but not decision making.

He's been to a few interviews lately, so when he was offered a job in Georgia he was a bit shocked. We never thought we'd move to my "home". A few days and one huge fight later, he turned it down. Then he went nuts thinking he made a mistake. After 6 days of fretting over his decision, he called the guy who offered him a job and told him he made a mistake (on his voice mail). He also sent him an email since it was after hours. Then, 45 minutes later, our life changed when he received an email that said:

Jon, 
The offer still stands. Welcome to the Farm Credit Family!

After speaking with the guy the next day, Jon even got a slightly higher offer than the original offer. Yay!

So just like that, our life changed. Love turns 2 on April 5th. Jon starts his new job on April 15th in Chatsworth, Ga. City of 3,000 people, y'all. I had more kiddos than that in my high school. Talk about life changing move! And I turn 30 on April 30th. April is going to be a huge HUGE month for us!

Now, if only we could decide what to do with our house. We've been talking about it for weeks. At first we settled on selling it, since housing prices are up in our area, but it just didn't feel right. We've brought it from disgusting foreclosure to cute little trendy bungalow and made it a home. We've thought about renting it out in case the job in Georgia didn't work out and we wanted to move back. That's always a possibility for us, since we love it and are completely happy here. We go back and forth, and now we are running out of time.

Really, I think we both hate that we are moving. But, if I am going to continue to stay at home then Jon needed to look for a career opportunity with more possibility of advancement. And I'm glad he found one.

Oh, and this past Saturday, we made a day trip to Chatsworth to look at houses. Need I tell you how hard it is to find a house in Murray County that does not smell like chicken litter? That is not near a chicken house? That is not besides a 50 year old single wide trailer? Our realtor actually suggested that we place some trailer pads on our property and rent them out to people....Not exaggerating here....

The one house we loved is this 110 year old remodeled farm house on 4 acres. Pretty much our dream house. It's in our price range, but if we don't decide to sell our house then we can't get it. Amazingly beautiful, no? There is nothing nearby but cows and a gorgeous view of the north Georgia mountains from the front porch.
